Moonshine or the Kids?
Click on this link to read a Sarasota Herald Tribune/NYT column by Nicholas Kristof that argues the real cause of poverty is often bad decision-making by poor people. Could world poverty be relieved simply by getting poor people to change their priorities? Is this a form of "blaming the victim"? Or does Kristof make a good point?
